Where Are They Now: Dr. Fauci Enjoys Life Out of the Spotlight

As the U.S. reaches Covid-19 vaccination milestones, a familiar face fades into the background. Dr. Fauci first came onto the scene as the measured and reassuring presence often found speaking truth to power as a spokesperson for the government’s Covid response. For many of us he symbolized the stoic father figure, coining the iconic facepalm during former President Trump’s so called “press conferences.” We were unable to reach Dr. Fauci for comment but did receive this auto-reply from his email responder “If you need me, don’t. Fauci Out ✌🏼”
