Mayor Bowser Forms Task Force to Prevent Snoop Dogg From Posting Videos of DC Police Violence
Washington DC — Mayor Bowser promised to form a task force to address MPD officers punching a restrained man in the face from being shared by celebrities. “We will do everything to stop the D. O. Double G from sharing videos of our officers brutality, we will not stop until our police violence goes unreported,” said Bowser.
The US Attorney dropped all charges against the victim, who was restrained by three officers, and punched in the face, head, and torso; a decision Bowser disagreed with.
When asked for further comment Bowser said, “I will personally reach out to Snoop Dogg and invite him to the Black Lives Matter Plaza for a selfie with me. I hope this will stop the posting and sharing of video evidence of MPD police violence,” Bowser continued, “My hope is one day no one will record, snap, post our police’s inhumane treatment, the goal is to cover it up before celebrities notice.”
